Frequently Asked Questions

What neighborhoods do you provide services to?

I provide dog walking and cat sitting services primarily to Ridgewood, Bushwick, and East Williamsburg. I'm able to service a broader area for overnight sitting and select services.

What are your hours of operation?

My standard walking hours are Monday-Friday 10am-6pm. Weekend, late night, and holiday services can be provided depending on availability.

Are you certified to provide care for my pet?

Absolutely! I am Pet First Aid and CPR certified through PetTech. Dogzilla and Cat Cong, LLC is also an insured and bonded member of the Pet Sitters Associates, LLC.

What forms of payment do you accept?

I ask that all services are paid for in advance. Payment via credit, debit, and Paypal can be made on my "Book a Service" page. Cash is also accepted.

What is your cancellation policy?

When a service is booked, a block of my time is reserved. Because this reservation limits my availability to other clients, refunds cannot be issued for canceled services. All services that are canceled by 6pm the evening before can be credited to a new booking. Services that are canceled after 6pm the day before or the-day-of cannot be credited or refunded. Holiday services cannot be credited or refunded.

How do you schedule your walks/visits?

The date and time of a scheduled service is finalized upon payment.

Due to a number of variables such as client location and weather, I must provide services with some degree of flexibility. All walks/visits are conducted within +1/-1 hour of their scheduled time. Consistency is important to me as I know it is important to your pet.

Do you need to meet my dog or cat prior to your visit?

Before I finalize any booking I will schedule a brief visit to your home to conduct a "Meet and Greet" with your pet to make sure we are the right match. I have an intake form and liability waiver that will cover everything from your dog or cat's medical history and emergency contacts to his or her favorite toys and treats to ensure I am providing the best care possible. I encourage clients to have a spare key ready for this initial visit.

What do you do in the event of severe weather?

Your pet's safety is my number one priority. In the event of severe hot or cold weather I will only walk your dog for as long as it is safe for him or her to be outside. Any walking time that your dog misses outside will be fulfilled inside with play time, love, and attention.

In the event of an extreme weather catastrophe or other emergency, I reserve the right to cancel my services. Clients will be notified as soon as possible and will be reimbursed or provided with credit for future services.
